You will train in groups of 4 students maximum with live demonstrations on the day.
Our courses aren’t just a one day course. We believe that the key to great training is ensuring our learners are continually supported after they leave the classroom.
Learning to use an e-file is a game changer in many ways.
First and foremost it will save you a huge amount of time on your treatment. It can cut your preparation time down by up to half. E-filing is a way of speeding up the filing process during nail treatments, which reduces the time spent manually filing. It will also save you money on products.
Secondly, if you are soaking the product off this will affect the clients skin and can damage the nail plate by drying out the nails and making them brittle. Some hard gels are not able to be removed by the soak off method and have to be filed off. If you are carrying this out manually this could take a long time but using an e-file will only take you up to 10 minutes.
Thirdly, it will have a huge improvement on your body. You will have less strain on your back, arms, wrists and fingers. Did you know that nail techs who hand file for their entire careers are much more likely to develop carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and other nerve/tendon/joint-related conditions as a result of wear and tear on their bodies? All that movement and muscle pressure we put on our arm and hand while hand filing really takes its toll over time. E-filing is a great way to allow an advanced tool to do the work for you. Not only that, but you can be much more precise and efficient.

ON THE DAY
You are welcome to bring your own E-file if you wish .
You will be working on yourself .
For E-file and Russian Manicure you MUST have product (builder gel, hard gel or acrylic) on your nails, with gel polish over and with 2-3 weeks regrowth
For Pedicure you MUST have gel polish on your nails with 2-3 weeks regrowth
You do not need to purchase anything before your course. In fact, we recommend that you wait until you have attended to find out which e-file bits you prefer to use instead of buying ones that may just sit in your drawer!
You will be required to meet assessment criteria on the day in order to pass the course. If you do not meet the criteria you will be asked to provide case studies.
